Enrico Ruggeri

Even before receiving his B.A. degree in kinesiology (with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy) from S.F. State University, Enrico had become interested in massage as an effective healing modality to alleviate pain and stress. After studying massage techniques for several years, he began his practice as a professional massage therapist in 1998. Enrico's comprehensive massage training (1000+ hours) and experience range from clinical work with doctors in a hospital setting to exotic spa treatments to managing massage teams at major sports events. Enrico is currently on the staff of McKinnon Body Therapy Center, where he teaches classes in Sports Massage and Deep Tissue Massage.

Through his training at the San Francisco School of Massage and his 20 years of experience, Enrico has developed a massage style he calls “The Ruggeri Method,” which incorporates guided meditation with breathwork, to assist the client in reaching a deep state of relaxation. This approach has proven to be a powerful modality for reducing muscle and joint pain, stress and tension, while helping clients reclaim their energy, stamina and vitality.

DWLC is thrilled to have a massage therapist of Enrico’s high caliber on our team.
